These landscape collages are made from handmade papers that Sherri collected from around the world. Inspired by the tactile feel of tearing paper, she created colorful works that reflect spontaneity, as well as hope for a more joyful, post-pandemic time.

A modern take on classics, these delightful abstracts are done with ink and paper or tile on marble. Layers of colors and papers, sanded and scratched, reveal ballerinas and other elegant figures. Abstract figures on luminous tile surfaces create interesting and beautiful effects.

Using combinations of nontraditional materials, these mixed media pieces reflect Sherri’s continual search for and discovery of new and intriguing effects. This iterative process of experimentation creates a space where the possibilities are endless.
